Mark your calendars! Climate Change Summit events will take place on Saturday\, Oct. 11\, from 9\:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bloomington\, Gary\, Indianapolis\, Lafayette and South Bend.
The morning schedule features keynote presentations regarding the effects of climate change on the following aspects of Hoosier life\: Ecosystems (John Shuey\, The Nature Conservancy)\, Public Health (Indra Frank\, M.D.)\, Economy (Kenneth Richards\, School of Public and Environmental Affairs\, IU)\, Faith Communities (Fr. Boniface Hardin\, Founder and President Emeritus\, Martin University)\, and Governance (Mayor James Brainard\, City of Carmel\, Indiana).
In the afternoon\, participants may attend one of three training workshops\, each with a different focus for action\: Cool Cities/Counties\, Indiana Public Policy\, and Electricity without Coal or Nuclear.
